The "mountain of money" of trillions lying in the sun and dew revealed an unprecedented tragedy

The unprecedented tragedy startled many people when they witnessed thousands of new cars lying in the sun.

Among the cars here are many expensive cars such as Range Rovers and Jaguars. The total value of these cars is up to 35 million pounds (~ 1,100 billion VND).

The vehicles are being stored at a former air force base called Upper Heyford near Bicester, Oxfordshire, England.

In the past, cars were only left at this parking lot for a few days or weeks and then moved to a car salon for customers to see.

But the Covid-19 epidemic caused salons to close, and buyers stayed at home to avoid the epidemic.

Specific figures show that only 871 cars were sold while in 2019 in April there were 68,000 cars sold in the UK.

In April, the number of cars sold in the UK was less than 1,000 cars. This is a number that makes many people really shocked. This is due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

UK car sales fell 97% in April, to their lowest level since 1946.

According to the Daily Mail, the blockade from March 23 helped prevent the Covid-19 epidemic, but caused 591,000 businesses in the UK to face the risk of bankruptcy.

Not long ago, the image recorded in Maui, Hawaii - where car rental companies park thousands of cars when there are no tenants, also shocked many people.

This used to be a sugarcane field - an export product that brought a great source of income for Hawaii. Currently, it is home to about 18,000 cars that are idle.
